PieandBelle Adult Daytime Art Classes in Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
Starting in 2018, Pie and Belle Art classes started small and became a huge hit. The classes are perfect for beginners or more advanced students and give locals a fun new interesting way of socialising or offering a therapeutic calming couple hours away from life.
Our 5 week art course can help you gain friends, new skills and hopefully a few art works to hang in your walls.
The 6 week course comprises of morning or afternoon classes in Leighton Buzzard and Dunstable that last two hours per week.
The course will provide you with equipment every week, so you don't need to bring anything but your imagination.
Our classes are fun and friendly with no pretentiousness. You get a full demo explaining the layering of each image and breaking down any tricky areas and Kirsty is on hand throughout the class in case you get stuck.
We now cover:
Watercolour paints, oil pastels, Chinese Sumi ink, watercolour pencils, shading pencils, chalk soft pastels, graphite aquarelle and pastel pencils.
We use 4/5 mediums per course and no two images are the same, meaning you can keep coming back or just do one course to get you started. There is no commitment past your first course.

The Course
After teaching for other art companies, I wanted to create my own course. One that used decent mediums and really gave you loads of information whilst keeping the classes friendly and fun. As a very inquisitive artist, I am always thinking outside the box with not only interesting subject matters, but also how to use the products to create what I want on the paper.
Whether it be transparent bees' wings, sand or undertones of skin. I like to challenge myself and the class whilst keeping the images entirely achievable to even novice artists.
