Marionette Shoot
Victorian Freak shows led to Kirsten creating a number of marionette puppets to resemble its members. Buying broken or tangled marionettes, re-painting, creating outfits and re-stringing them to create puppeted versions of their human counterparts.
She then wanted to create an image that represented how the way we judge others solely on appearances is still as damaging and prevalent today as it was in Victorian society.
